Stearic acid plays an important role in the synthesize process of rubber. Stearic acid is added as an emulsifier and a vulcanization active agent. Stearic acid can be used as the anti-foaming agent in the production of foam rubber, and as a release agent for rubber products. It is widely used as a stabilizer, surfactant, water repellent, polishing agent, metal mineral flotation agent, softener in the cosmetics and daily chemical industries.
The product is used as a raw material for the preparation of lubricants, anti-foaming agents and raw material of producing food additives (glyceryl stearate, sorbitan stearate, sucrose ester) in the food industry.
